Cash for Life Odds and Prizes
Cash for Life offers a guaranteed income for winners of the top two prizes. If you match all the numbers, you receive a payout worth $1,000 a day for life, while if you get the five main numbers without the Cash Ball, the prize is equal to $1,000 a week for life.
There are seven other prizes that are paid out as a one-off sum, ranging from $2 for matching just one number plus the Cash Ball to $2,500 for winners in the Match 4 + Cash Ball category.

Prizes For Life
The top prize is paid out as $365,000 a year (even in Leap Years) rather than daily payments. This has a minimum time period of 20 years, so even if a winner dies the payments will continue to be made to their estate. There is also a cash option for jackpot winners, which is subject to change but is typically $7 million.
The jackpot is split between winners if there are multiple players who match all the numbers. In the unlikely event that there are 15 or more winners, the annuity option is not available and instead the cash amount will be divided equally.
The second prize, by contrast, is fixed so it does not matter how many winners there are. The cash option for the second prize is $1 million.
