Money Dots

Money Dots is a fast-paced game with draws every four minutes and prizes of up to $50. Find out more about how to play and win prizes.

Draws take place immediately after Quick Draw is played, so just like that game it can be played all through the day apart from between 3:30 AM and 4:00 AM.

How to Play

It couldn’t be simpler to play Money Dots. All you need to do is ask your retailer for a Quick Pick, or select the ‘Yes’ option on the bottom of your Quick Draw playslip.

Decide how many consecutive drawings you want to play – 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20. It costs just $1 per draw. When you receive your ticket, you’ll be given eight numbers from 1 to 80. Here are a couple of other key points to know:

You can’t pick your own numbers in Money Dots. Wagers are Quick Pick only.
Money Dots can be played on its own or alongside Quick Draw. You receive a separate ticket for your Money Dots wager.
Quick Draw Extra does not apply to Money Dots.

How the Draw Works

After each Quick Draw, the 60 numbers that are left become Money Dots. Each number is assigned a prize value and a color - $5 (yellow), $10 (purple), $20 (green) or $50 (red).

One of these 60 numbers is then drawn at random. You can see the draw live at your local NY Lottery retailer or in the Quick Draw Zone within the official app.

If you match the winning number, you win the associated prize.

Odds of Winning

The overall odds of winning a Money Dots prize are 1 in 13.33. However, there are different odds for each of the prize values being assigned. The following table shows your chances of winning each amount.
